[Oh no, poor silly Zee. Lorenzo's dogs come to say hello to the Zygarde as they always do and of course their papa is right there with him to greet.]
That was a mighty fine power-slide you did there though, Zee. [Pet pet pets for the Pokemon!! You do good!!] Just gotta work a little more on the breaks, but you'll be like that Akira clip in no time!
[Because of course Lorenzo would know where that clip is from. While he's giving all of the love to the pets, there's a funny little Bangboo guy peeking out from behind him with a curious weh-nuh-watta.]
[The Bangboo can't tilt its head alone, so half its body tilted when Rika kneeled down to it.]
Red Moccus, a Bangboo. I've seen a few of 'em around town but for him... he was part of the Biker gang my past self was in. Go ahead and say hey to Rika.
["Weh-nu-noh! Weh-watta-weh... eh-noh... weh!" (Hello Rika! Call me Red Moccus, of the Sons of Calyo... well, they aren't here, but I still am!)" Talkative guy, very dedicated too! Unless Rika speaks Bangboo though it's not comprehensible. Not verbally anyway, the enthusiasm is!]
[A talkative guy indeed...! Rika can't understand Red Moccus at all, but she does know that's something she can fix--time to put studying the Bangboo language on her to do list.
But the Bangboo's enthusiasm does come across loud and clear, so Rika grins, reaching out to give Red Moccus a headpat.]
Red Moccus... Good to meet ya, little buddy! You go ahead and make yourself at home here, too.
[And with that, she stands up to turn her attention back to Lorenzo.]
The place is still in a bit of a state from moving in, but I can give you a quick tour before the pizza gets here, at least.
[With an excited "Weh-nah!" Red Moccus did a fun little waddle forward where the dogs followed its lead. Red Moccus did its very best to be a good influence on Concha and Tito!!
Lorenzo gave Rika a casual shrug, though.]
It's gonna take some time to settle. Not like my place was any better when I first got in. Sure, I'll take the grand tour.
Zee happened because of the Goodwill, the Clodsire was one of my past life's Pokemon... The Noivern and Luxio I got from a coworker before she vanished from the app.
You can find 'em in that Kanto stable gate, though. If you wanna hit it up sometime, I'd be happy to go with you.
Huh, so Clodsire came back to you like Red Moccus did for me I guess.
[Hm, the internal conflict. But Lorenzo liked lil critters so it's fine. A drop in the bucket of Issues really.]
I might take you up on that. I've been wondering about these guys a while. Fortress isn't a great place for animals to stick around, but I'm usually outside with them anyway.
Yeah, pretty much. None of the others that past Rika had have turned up, though. Suits me just fine, anyway, means I can bond with new ones.
[Not to mention, looking beyond that old type specialty was a plus, too.]
Yeah, a bunch of them probably wouldn't hold up too great in the Fortress. [Fire types, for instance--] But hell yeah, I'm happy to help with something like that.
[Her expression softens.]
Pokemon were a huge part of her life--past life Rika's, I mean--so being able to share this sort of thing with my family now... 's important to me.
[Lorenzo couldn't help but smile himself. Even if he didn't see her a lot growing up, Rika was still his family here. His... his only family.
Lorenzo's family. That much was at least certain even if so much more felt up in the air. Even as he grew closer to the people from New Eridu all over again.
He liked to see her reminisce. He was a bit jealous, even. That she could look at past Rika without much inner strife. He almost wanted to ask how she does it so easily, but that'll spoil the mood. Tonight's for Bacardi and Pizza and little critter friends.]
I'm glad you could share 'em with me. I've been on the road a lot all these years and part of what makes it nice is seeing new things every day. These guys are definitely new to me.

Who's this little guy?

[It's said as she starts walking. Zee will be right on Lorenzo's heels.]
I mean, yeah, point of getting it and all so I have room for the Pokemon, but it's still kind of hard to believe sometimes.
[Rika's comes right up to the two of them and she picks the little Russian Blue up.]
Couple of 'em are out in the backyard now--the Noivern's a bit big to have inside all the time, and Clodsire loves the pond out there.

They've sure got plenty of space once you're all set. So, how'd you find all of them anyway? The Pokemon I mean. I keep meaning to ask about 'em.

[But the familiar was nice too.]
