[Lorenzo definitely didn't want to be, and he wanted the fallout of his carelessness even less. But what's done is done. Lamenting on what if won't change anything, at least everyone is still alive.
Yet here he was, dwelling. It just made him miss his carefree "brother" even more.
He can see that Rika's obviously making an excuse to visit. That was fine, he didn't... he didn't mind seeing her. That's what he told himself. And if she's gonna bring food even better. Right?]
I'd kill for some decent chili right about now. If you need me to tell your job to shove it I'm pretty good at playing the drama up these days.
Honestly, I may take you up on that in the near future, if they get especially insufferable.

Chili it is, though, I'll swing by with it as soon as it's done.
[And true to her word, it doesn't take her (too) long (it's still a few hours later) to show up at Meropide with the chili in hand, and she finds Lorenzo's room easily. Her new Zygarde, in its 10% form, is at her heels.]

[The Cryo "Vision" thing definitely doesn't count for that. Rika had a spare key to his room by this point and expected her to let herself in. Immediately when she does he felt the itch in his mind to go straight to her new friend's side and give it a pat on the head and ear scritches.
Lorenzo's two dogs also rushed towards her to give an excited hello!!! Much more enthused than he sounded right now. Tired, winded, drained but still wanting to manage a smile.]
